Effective: 1 August 2026
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. We use this solely to identify your account.
When you upload photos or videos, we extract EXIF metadata (date, GPS coordinates) to organise your files by location and date. This metadata is stored alongside your account data.
All media files are encrypted at rest in AWS S3 Glacier Deep Archive. Thumbnails are stored in S3 Standard with CloudFront CDN. Your account data is stored in DynamoDB.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We use AWS infrastructure to store your files — AWS acts as a data processor under our instructions.
You can delete your account at any time from the app. This permanently removes all your data, including all stored media, within 30 days. You may also request a copy of your data by emailing support@archivios.uk.
Archivios' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google Sign-In to authenticate your identity — we do not access Google Photos, Drive, or any other Google service data.
